Corkey the Dog needs a home
Corkey came to OOTW from a hoarding situation where he was one of 18 Chihuahuas, although we believe Corkey might be a mix of Chihuahua and Pomeranian. He is fairly shy, but we believe once he's in a home, he will settle in if given a little time.
Corkey is around 10 years old and seems to be in good health, however, he is heartworm positive. We are treating Corkey for heartworms using the slow-kill method and OOTW will pay for this treatment and have Corkey re-tested at the end of treatment to make sure those nasty things are gone! ;)
Due to his only living outdoors his entire life before OOTW, Corkey loves to mark his territory. We believe once he is in his forever home, he can be broken from this by using a crate or bellyband. He just needs a home with more consistence. Corkey is crate and doggie door and crate trained.
